More information

Cary Cub Scout Pack 152 meets every Wednesday night at 7:00 in the downstairs area of Genesis United Methodist Church (GUMC).  GUMC is located at 850 High House Road in Cary, NC. Our scouting season runs from September to May and it is packed full of fun and educational events. Cub Scouting serves two purposes – to help develop young men that hold Scouting values high, and the other is to make memories for our children. By joining and participating with Pack 152, your scout will join an international brotherhood, gain confidence, build character, foster a sense of accomplishment and have fun in the process!

Pack 152 holds summertime activities from June through August. Typical activities that we schedule are: camping in the outfield at the DBAP, home of the Durham Bulls, fishing, kit racing, tie-dyeing, and others. This is during the “off season”!

Regular season activites (in nizagara addition to our den and pack meetings) include camping, field trips, and Pinewood Derby racing with cars made by the scouts. We also participate in community events like the Cary Christmas Parade.

Scouting core values are centered prednisone on God, Family, and Community. While they are working on achievements, scouts are also working on building character and confidence at multiple levels – individually, as part of a group, and as part of their community. Service to others is a key part of scouting. As one example, each year Pack 152 helps clean up litter along the road near our meeting place.

Come check us out and find out what scouting and Pack 152 have to offer. For older boys, (sixth grade and beyond) Troop 152 Boy Scouts meet at the same location. A link to their website is on the right-hand side of our homepage. We are also looking for parents to volunteer as den leaders or for other positions in the pack.
